The Lion King Party starts with watching The Lion King on Blu-ray/Digital HD with the new bonus features. They have a sing-along that is always a party favorite. My daughter and I were getting really into it over the weekend. I am super excited about The Lion King Blu-ray/Digital HD comes out today, August 29!! It is a great birthday gift and fun party activity.
Sing Along – Sing along to your favorite songs from the movie! “Circle of Life”, “I Just Can’t Wait to Be King”, “Be Prepared”, “Hakuna Matata” and “Can You Feel the Love Tonight”.
The Signature Collection Version of Lion King comes with some awesome special features. One of my favorite special features was showing of the recording sessions of the different actors. There is Rowan Atkinson (aka Mr. Bean) as Zazu, Matthew Broderick as Adult Simba, Jeremy Irons as Scar, Nathan Lane as Timon and of course, James Earl Jones as Mufasa. It is amazing to see them so young since the movie was released in 1994. Some of the other Bonus Features that you should check out are: Visualizing A Villain, Inside The Story Room, Nathan And Matthew: The Extended Lion King Conversation, Deleted and Alternate Scenes, and Bloopers and Outtakes.
The Lion King Party Ideas
The Lion King is the perfect birthday party theme because of all the animals. It is a fun way to teach kids about Lions and family. You could even have the party at your local zoo!
Party Location Ideas – The perfect locations for The Lion King are the Zoo, a park pavilion, or your backyard.
The Lion King Photo Booth – Here is a super cute Jungle Backdrop and you can use the inflatable jungle animals, animal face masks or Lion Guard Facemasks, Disney The Lion King Animals, and The Lion King Party Hats as props for the photos. 
Party Decor – The Lion King Balloons with plates/tablecloth party set you should be good for decor.
The Lion King Party Favors 
Gift Bags – You can either go for animal print goodie bags or these cute animal treat boxes. 
Party Favors – These Tsum Tsum plush toys are great party favors. I have gotten them on their own without a goodie bag at a birthday party before. Also, this mega multipack has a ton of cute stuff to include in the goodie bag. For Toddles, you can add Disney Toddler Beginner Books. 
They come out to about $2 each so that is a nice price for a book that kids can continue to enjoy.
