My daughter has been getting tons of mosquito bites lately and I have been on the hunt for something that make her skin and blood less desirable for them. I did a ton of research about what repels them and discovered that garlic is a natural repellant. It totally makes sense that they don’t bite me as much because I eat tons of garlic. My daughter however does not eat it that much.

To help her out with these bites, I have started to add more garlic to her foods. One of her favorite things are these buffalo chicken meatballs. Normally, I make them with only the ranch seasoning and breadcrumb. Now, I have added the garlic and it made the flavor even better than before.

buffalo chicken meatballs recipe (1 of 1)The Buffalo Chicken Meatballs are extremely easy to make especially in the air fryer. Unlike the oven, the air fryer does not make your house super hot. These are perfect to make a quick lunch or dinner on a warm night when you don’t want any extra heat in the house.

Soak the chicken for 15 to 30 minutes to make it more moist. Keep it in the fridge while you do it so that the chicken stays cold.

Strain the chicken and add to a large bowl for mixing.

Dice the garlic in a food processor.

Add the diced garlic, ranch seasoning packet, and 1 cup of breadcrumb to the mixing bowl.

Mix together the ingredients by needing them together. Add water a little at a time if the meat seems dry. I added about 1 tbsp. The longer you soak the meat, the less likely you will need to add water here.

Roll the meatballs into smalls balls and place in the air fryer.

Set the air fryer to 360 degrees Fahrenheit for 5 minutes.

Once the meatballs are done, add Frank’s Hot Sauce to a large bowl allowing it to cover the bottom of the bowl entirely.

Roll the meatballs into the hot sauce.

Add the meatballs back into the air fryer.

Set the air fryer to 360 degrees Fahrenheit for 5 minutes.

Mix together ranch dressing or blue cheese with blue cheese crumbles.

Serve the meatballs in a dish or basket and top with dressing and blue cheese crumbles mixture.
