For Breast Cancer Awareness Month a few local fashion bloggers got together to help with fashion for a cause. I went shopping all over town looking for pink items for the photo shoot. I found a pair of Dolce Vita neon purple pumps at Plato’s Closet in Boca Raton, Florida.

Orange is the New Black Blazer
When you think fall, normally the first color that comes to mind is black. Get black out of your head and start thinking, Orange is the New Black! Black blazers have been in style for a while now and yours is probably worn out from wearing it too much. Instead of choosing a black blazer, opt for an orange blazer instead. As you can see, orange works with several colors including navy, white, and yellow. I would also suggest pairing it with khaki, slate gray, jeans, almost any blue, and camo print. Camo print is huge for fall, and you will be a trendista in camo jeans and an orange blazer. I recently wore a fall transition outfit comprised of an orange halter turtleneck dress with a camo bag. It was complimented to the hilt.

Macy’s presents Fall’s Five Essentials-key pieces that say fall 2013! Annie aka The Fashion Poet showed the audience 5 fall essentials that will update your wardrobe for fall. It was a great day as I got to hang out with my friend, Jen aka The Rebel Chick. She’s awesome, but I rarely get to see her in person. So glad we got to watch the show together! 🙂 I got my hair done after the show from the mini Blo Bar set up by Macy’s. Check out the difference in hair below.
