Eyebrows frame your eyes and really give you a polished look. My dark brows do not match my blonde hair. Today, I am going to show you how to lighten eyebrows with makeup and not bleach or hair dye.

How to Lighten Eyebrows with Makeup

Eyebrows and Mascara are the most important part of my makeup routine. I always go lighter than your hair color for day time. For years. I made the mistake of buying dark brown because my hair is dark brown and never used the pencils because it was too dark for me.

Lighter colored eye brow pencils look more natural. Use the pencil to fill in the brows pressing lightly and avoiding the first millimeter of brow closest to your nose.

Start by using a fine brow pencil to create a perfect arch that follows your natural bone structure. Brush you brow hair up vertically with the spooley end and draw a thin line along the hairline following the lower arch. Brush your brow hair down and define the top of your brow arch in the same way. Fill in any gaps or sparse areas and groom the color through your brows.

After you are done with the brow pencil, use the Anastasia’s Tinted Brow Gel in caramel to lighten up your brows.  For a natural effect, apply the brow gel all over your brow hair with light strokes.

Eye Brow Pencil

Anastasia Beverly Hill Brow Wiz

The eye brow pencil that I have been using for years is the Anastasia Beverly Hill Brow Wiz. It is great pencil that I absolutely LOVE! It is thin and easy to work with!

Brow Wiz’s ultra-fine, retractable tip is perfect for spot-filling in areas where brow hair is sparse by mimicking fine, hair-like strokes. This pencil is ideal for places where your arches maybe bare.

The pencil is smudge-proof and stays put day for fresh, natural-looking brows. I like blonde and taupe for my brows to help lighten and soften my brows.

OverARCHiever Microblading Brow Pencil

The other pencil that I really like for filling in my brown is the OverARCHiever Microblading Brow Pencil.  In fact, the ultra-fine & creamy brow pencil is super easy to use and helps me color in my brow a little bit to make them more even.

This Doll 10 pencil is small and helps you draw incredibly natural hair-like strokes. It only comes in one color – universal. This color works perfectly for lightening brows. You can read my review of the Doll 10 makeup here

The Overachiever Precision Microblading Pencil transforms your brows just a few strokes. The custom ultra-fine tip makes adding detailed definition to your brows easy, by drawing incredibly natural-looking, hair-like strokes that won’t budge.

This ultra-creamy pencil is ideal for spot filling sparse or over-tweezed areas and the smudge-proof formula is firm enough for precise application that glides on easily & effortlessly to bring symmetry to your brows.

The creamy powder formula is infused with marula oil, aloe extract and vitamins B & E to nourish your brow hair, and get you dolled up in 10 minutes or less!

Caramel Brow Gel

For those with thin, sparse brows or looking to lighten your brows, the Anastasia’s Tinted Brow Gel is a unique, botanical formula gives the appearance of fuller, thicker brows. The combination of cream and gel effortlessly defines and fills in the look of brows while controlling and shaping without flaking or fading.

The non-greasy formula can easily be removed at night with a facial cleanser or makeup remover. Housed in a sleek, portable tube that allows for precise, no-mess application, Anastasia’s Tinted Brow Gel is perfect for instant brow touch-ups anyplace, anytime. It’s the must-have tool for any beauty-savvy woman.

Also, the brow gel blends with hair color, and it can be used to touch up roots in between hair color touch ups.

  1. You look good. I support makeup only if the skin looks healthy, and you just want to emphasize your beauty. It is also very important to choose high-quality, clean products that do not contain toxins. Clean makeup blog will help you understand this in more detail
