Disney World Halloween is a sponsored post. As always, all opinions 100% my own.

The Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party is part of the fun of Disney World Halloween! Months before Halloween, Disney World starts the Halloween fun in August and keeps it going all the way into early November.

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party
Eerie lighting, fall décor and Mickey Mouse-shaped Jack-O-Lanterns set the stage at Magic Kingdom for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. The family-friendly after-hours event offers trick-or-treating, meet and greets with favorite characters in costume, plus the must-see “Mickey’s Boo-to-You Halloween Parade” and “Happy HalloWishes” fireworks display. As a huge Halloween fan, I love that the Disney World Halloween gives everyone a chance to experience the Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party. The Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is a separately ticketed event that takes place after normal park hours. This year it will take place on a record number of select nights in 2019 from Aug. 16 through Nov. 1.

This is the 3rd year in a row that I have gone to the Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party! You can read about my first year the Not So Scary Party here and my second year here with 10 Reasons to Go to Mickey’s Halloween Party

The Halloween Parade is one of the funnest parts of the Halloween Party at Disney World. It goes around the front of Cinderella’s Castle and down Main Street USA. All of your favorite characters are in spooky gear and ready for Halloween.

Disney’s Not So Spooky Spectacular

A new fireworks, projection and laser show – “Disney’s Not So Spooky Spectacular” – joins such fan favorites as “Mickey’s Boo-to-You Halloween Parade,” the “Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular” stage show, Disney characters in their finest Halloween garb and trick-or-treating throughout the park. You can read

The new “Disney’s Not So Spooky Spectacular” lights the night sky during the witching season in a spellbinding display playing across the heavens. As host of the spectacle, Jack Skellington from Tim Burton’s “The Nightmare Before Christmas” spins a not-so-scary tale about how anything can happen on Halloween night.

Jack Skellington from Tim Burton’s “The Nightmare Before Christmas” hosts the new “Disney’s Not So Spooky Spectacular” fireworks show at Magic Kingdom Park. This spellbinding display of state-of-the-art projection effects, lasers, lighting and dazzling fireworks will delight guests during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, a separately ticketed event held on select nights Aug. 16-Nov. 1, 2019, at Walt Disney World Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Fla. Jack’s ghost dog, Zero, brings everyone along on a trick-or-treating adventure where four friends – Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Goofy and Donald Duck – find themselves drawn into a haunted house. Encounters with dancing skeletons, waltzing ghosts and wickedly troublemaking Disney villains make for a hair-raising adventure. It all comes to life with state-of-the-art projection effects, lasers, lighting and dazzling fireworks.

The Nightmare Before Christmas is a fun draw during the Halloween Party at Magic Kingdom. If you love these character, there is so much to choose from at Magic Kingdom. You will find Zero, Jack’s nemesis, Oogie Boogie, Jack Skellington, and Sally.

‘Mickey’s Boo-To-You Halloween Parade’

The galloping Headless Horseman fronts “Mickey’s Boo-To-You Halloween Parade,” setting the stage for spooktacular fun throughout Magic Kingdom. The parade opens with a flurry of beloved Disney friends, including Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse in new Halloween costumes.

The spectral Bride from The Haunted Mansion appears in the parade this year alongside waltzing spirits and those famous Hitchhiking Ghosts. Pixar pals join the fun, too, including The Incredibles and designer extraordinaire Edna Mode, as well as Buzz Lightyear and alien explorers on a planetary playset float inspired by Pixar’s Toy Story films.

Wreck-It-Ralph, Vanellope von Schweetz and the girls from Sugar Rush make sure there’s plenty of candy to go around during the parade. In addition, pirates sail in from Adventureland, Clarabelle Cow hosts a square dance during a Frontierland hoedown and a wicked assortment of Disney villains reigns over a Fantasyland-inspired grand finale.

One of my favorite parts of Disney World Halloween is all the Halloween merchandise that they put out. You don’t have to you to the Halloween Party to see all the fun Halloween merch.

Hocus Pocus

The Halloween movie staring Sarah Jessica Parker is one of Disney properties. Disney World incorporate our favorite witches into the light and firework show on the castle. The Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is magical and amazing.

Hocus Pocus Cupcake

The mischievous Sanderson Sisters from Hocus Pocus return in 2019 to throw a Halloween party. With only a few hours to run amuck at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, Winifred, Mary and Sarah decide to use their magic to host a decidedly wicked fun fest.

Enlisting the help of the Disney villains, the 3 sisters mix sinister shadows, terrifying nightmares and use the nefarious powers of their frightening colleagues to conjure the ultimate Hocus Pocus Party Potion—and cast a spell on everyone in Magic Kingdom park! You will see your favorite spooky Disney charaters like Dr. Facilier, Oogie Boogie and Maleficent.

The Disney Store and the WDW stores have Hocus Pocus swag everywhere too. You can get a Hocus Pocus Cupcake at the Starbucks on Mainstreet USA.

This super cute dress actually matches the Hocus Pocus cupcake with animated drawings of the three witches. I am totally in love it and all the other goodies like the purse to match!

The Villains

Disney’s Villains are the best! They get their moment in the sun (really the dark since the party is at night), during the Mickey’s Halloween Party. Who is your favorite Villain? We love to hate Cruella da Vil, Maleficent, the Evil Queen, Captain Hook, and so many more!

The stores at Disney World feature all your favorites in their element! The Maleficent ears are fantastic! When are they coming out with Cruella Minnie Ears!

Haunted Mansion

The Haunted Mansion is one of my favorite rides from my childhood. It is pretty much the same as it was when we were kids and that is awesome!

Also, some of the stores have Haunted Mansion ears that match the girl that hangs over the alligator. Do you remember as the stretch the room she looks so pretty and then suddenly you see how she died. Creepy, but fun! Her outfit is definitely on my Halloween costume wish list!

Halloween Gear

Get ready for trick or treating in style! The accessories are awesome for moms who are always going to all the Halloween event with their kids and doesn’t want to get dressed in costume every time. They have these cute Minnie Ears where the bow is candy corn. They even have a backpack to match!

Trick-or-Treat Throughout the Park

Get your fill of Halloween sweets and snacks as you gather up goodies from land to land. In Disney fashion, they are taking care of the kids or adult with allergies. If you have a food allergy, please see a Cast Member to pick up a teal-colored treat bag. When you trick-or-treat with your teal bag, you’ll receive a teal token at our treat stations. Later on, you can redeem these teal tokens at our Allergy-Friendly Centers for your special treats!

The Disney Not So Scary Party is the only time of the year that you can wear costumes to Disney World. You can enter the park at 4 pm even though the Halloween Party starts at 7 pm. The party ticket allows you to get a wrist band and you get to stay! This special event is so cool because you can get into can Disney Bound or get dressed up in full costume. I have a ton fun Disney Nail Art Ideas for the Halloween Party and the Disney Costumes.

At some of the stores in Disney World, you can also shop for trick-or-treat bag to take home with you. There are some really fun ones! Right now, the Mickey and Minnie ones are on sale online at the Disney Store.

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party Pass

While I was at the party, I met someone with the Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party Pass! It is so cool and I had to share it with you. For the 2019 not-so-spooky season, Walt Disney World Resort is introducing the new Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party Pass, giving families the opportunity to experience Mickey’s-Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at Magic Kingdom Park for up to 35 nights.

For $299 per adult (plus tax) or $284 (plus tax) for children. Note: This pass is not valid for admission on Oct. 31, 2019.
