The fall season is upon us and I am extremely excited to be spending time with family and friends. My girlfriends gather to try out new fall drink recipes and talk around the table about everything from books to bags.
Sometimes we dive in deep with stories about loves lost and funny experience. You really never know where the conversation might go.
It is the best thing in the world to have a group of friends that you can count on to give you advice and just let you talk.
What’s really fun is to serve every single one of these fall drink recipes and then all vote on which ones are our favorites.
It’s so entertaining to laugh about which of my friends like the sweeter drinks and which ones like them stronger.
How to Create Your Own Fall Drinks
Get creative! If you want to try your hand at mixing a new fall drink, here are a few tips.
- Use fall colors – create a colorful cocktail with reds, oranges, and yellows.
- Don’t forget the garnish – a colorful swirl of orange peel makes a drink look extra festive
- Keep it as strong as you like – if you are making drinks for other people, keep it less strong. You can always add more, you can’t take it away.
Here are the recipes that I came up with so far. I shared them with my friends this week at a small gathering at my house.
Strawberry Cucumber Lemonade
This drink tastes like summer but the colors remind me of fall.
Ingredients
- 6 Parts/Oz Strawberry Strawberry Great American
- 6 Parts/Oz Lemonade Great American
- 1 Cup Strawberries, quartered
- 2 Cups Cucumber, sliced
Instructions
Quarter the strawberries and slice the cucumbers.
Place the strawberries and cucumbers into a large pitcher.
Pour 6 oz Strawberry Great America and 6 oz Lemonade Great America over the fruit and cucumbers.
Leave in the fridge for an hour before serving.
Apple Pie Cocktail Recipe
Apple pie is the quintessential flavor of fall, and this cocktail is warm and inviting.
Ingredients
- 2 Parts Apple Pie Great America
- 2 Parts Sparkling Apple Cider
- 1 Apple, sliced as rounds to garnish
Instructions
In a gatsby era champagne glass, mix 2 Parts pre-chilled Apple Pie Great America and 2 Parts pre-chilled Sparkling Apple Cider.
Slice an apple into thin rounds to float on top of the cocktail. Remove the seeds so you don’t have dots floating in your drink.
I could keep making drink recipes all week long with these awesome flavors! I am dying to experiment with the Peach and Red, White & Blue Great America Flavors.

When you are hosting a book club party, you can make decor, foods, and even drinks based on the book you are reading. For example, a Mint Julep for the Great Gatsby or Sex and the City book would go great with Cosmopolitans. Yes, Sex and the City was a book before it was a show. š
