Fall Drink Recipes
The fall season is upon us and we are extremely excited to be spending time with family and friends. My girlfriends constantly have gatherings where we try out new fall drink recipes and talk around the table about everything from books to bags. Sometimes we dive in deep with stories about loves lost and funny experience. You really never know where the conversation might go. It is the best thing in the world to have a group of friends that you can count on to give you advice and just let you talk.
What’s really fun is to serve every single one of these fall drink recipes and then all vote on which ones are our favorites. It’s so entertaining to laugh about which of my friends like the sweeter drinks and which ones like them stronger.
What do you use to make fall drinks?
This week, I discovered a new brand of drinks called Great America. Of course, I immediately shared it with my friends! I mean literally that day! LOL Great America is pretty cool! It is a Malt Specialty brewed and bottled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina. It comes in a ton of awesome flavors that give me so many drink ideas for fall that I bursting at the seams to share with you and my girlfriends. After they drank the cucumber strawberry lemonade, my friends were asking for more creations. I can’t wait to try more combinations and mixers with the Great America flavors.
How to Create Your Own Fall Drinks
Get creative! If you want to try your hand at mixing a new fall drink, here are a few tips.
- Use fall colors – create a colorful cocktail with reds, oranges, and yellows.
- Don’t forget the garnish – a colorful swirl of orange peel makes a drink look extra festive
- Keep it as strong as you like – if you are making drinks for other people, keep it less strong. You can always add more, you can’t take it away.
Here are the recipes that I came up with so far. I shared them with my friends this week at a small gathering at my house.

Apple Pie Cocktail Recipe
Apple pie is the quintessential flavor of fall, and this cocktail is warm and inviting.
2 Parts Apple Pie Great America
2 Parts Sparkling Apple Cider
1 Apple, sliced as rounds to garnish
In a gatsby era champagne glass, mix 2 Parts pre-chilled Apple Pie Great America and 2 Parts pre-chilled Sparkling Apple Cider.
Slice an apple into thin rounds to float on top of the cocktail. Remove the seeds so you don’t have dots floating in your drink.
I could keep making drink recipes all week long with these awesome flavors! I am dying to experiment with the Peach and Red, White & Blue Great America Flavors. My friends are anxiously awaiting the new drink recipes for upcoming holiday meetups and parties! Which one are you most excited to try?
